Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Fabspeed Muffler Bypass pipes w/ stock tips are currently installed on a 2007 Carrera and I'm trying to re-install the factory mufflers on it. I've got the hardware to mount it the car, but missing the clamps that connect the inlet pipe of the muffler to the pipe with the catalytic converter (found on Pelican). The main question is: is there any sort of sleeve or adapter to mount stock tips to a stock muffler? The tip is way too big and there is no way it can mount as-is. Thanks in advance for the insight!

POST 2Original post

I took my OEM tips off recently to have them powdercoated and found small "adaptor rings" clamped in-between the tips and the muffler outlets. Without those the tips are too big to mount to the stock muffler outlets. Perhaps this is what you're missing.

Do you have part numbers? I think I have the original tips collecting dust somewhere that I can let go for cheap. PM me.
