I did some research on this recently and the overwhelming advice is to change before storage and not after.

Suggestion

Knew I read it some where, took me a few minutes when I got home but found it in the Warrany and Customer Information book, pages 15 and continues onto 16, fifth point says to change oil & filter and some other points as well for storage

Suggestion

The gist of what I learned is that old oil contains moisture and acids that will pit bearings and other engine parts so it’s important to change oil prior to storage.
