Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm hoping that someone can help me out with info on a car. My father is looking at the following 997 in the UK... The dealer claims that it is a low milage German 997 that has been garages and recently imported into the UK. Unfortunately a lot of the elements of the story just do not add up and I'm hoping someone here might be able to fill in the blanks. The was talk of the original owner buying it and garaging it without registration as an investment -we all know that to be BS. Additionally, the car shows way more wear than a 700 mile car should. On principle I'm concerned about them representing a 3 year old car as new. http://dealerservices.autotrader.co..../used-cars.htm Let me know if you can help. Thanks!

With a right hand drive???? That seems really strange. It was built for the UK market....

yeah, you can buy cars in Germany that are RHD - he has bought and imported one in the past, so that part of the story is not so far fetched, it's the other pieces that do not add up.
