Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It has dual zone climate, but it does not really matter what I set the temperature to, the footwell never gets very warm (this is with the top up).

Maybe I need to set the "intensity" to maximum....?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

But, requesting 28C and still not roasting my feet seems strange.
....literally, not emotionally...;-)
It has dual zone climate, but it does not really matter what I set the temperature to, the footwell never gets very warm (this is with the top up).
Selecting "auto sync"(?) or manually with the "down" arrow selected seems to have little effect, with 25 - 26C requested.
I can feel a momentary change in airflow when switching between the above settings, but then it just settles to "nowhere near warm enough"
I have the flow rate set to the mid option on the PCM menu.
Typically I never need to go above 22C with my M3, when set in "auto" mode.
Is this typical of the car, or do I need to get the dealer to check it?
Doesn't sound correct. I had the heater fan fail or stick in my 911 which pushed air out but not warm and hence could not demist. Easy fix under warranty by AA.
Not typical of either of mine. Great heaters especially on full chat in winter with he top down. My footwells got so hot it started to hurt my clutch foot

That is interesting.
I have not noticed whether the fan is not working (too much noise generally in the Spyder) but I will check it.
If the fan is not working, I would have thought the windows would steam up though?
Going out to have a look right now!

Only if its cold weather. In these summer conditions it's probably near impossible. The glass needs to be cold to allow condensation. Think of your beer bottle or beer glass. If its not really cold it will never get condensation on the outside.... right?

The fan is definitely working.

If I request 22C in my M3, I am more than warm enough.
So.....I asked the dealer to check.
And got the expected answer, unfortunately.
