Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi people I need help identifying a part I found my leak today by pure luck when I was lowering my car off the lift I seen some green fluid weeping from the pipe It runs parallel to the drivers side sill there are two pipes I believe it is pentison that is weeping out Any help appreciated :thumb:

POST 3Original post

That's the PAG AC oil. If its larger of 2 pipes its low oressure, smaller is high pressure. Both replacable on axle stands.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nice one lads cheers Here's a pic from this morning Found a pipe on Ebay for £40 :thumb:

POST 5Original post

A new pipe is £200 and its a fiddly job to get up through the wheel arch. You will need new o rings and probably bolts. Both underbody clips on mine had to be cut off and new ones used. Its definitely a DIY job but took me a few hours last week.

POST 6Original post

OPC charged me £102. Part number is 99657309101. The pipe can just pull out from the clamps if they are seized up and new one clipped back in. You can also if you want just cut the pipe where the leak is and fit a compression fitting on it to joine it back up. No doubt it will perforate somewhere else though so you're taking a chance doing that, but its only a few quid and you don't need to remove anything. Something like this: https://www.screwfix.com/p/compression-equal-couplers-15mm-2-pack/95828

POST 7Original post

Yeah I paid about £100 last summer from Porsche. Was dreading it after reading what a nightmare job it was but, without trying to sound like a big shot, I found it pretty easy tbh. Most awkward bit for me was popping the carbon canister back without pushing the bungs through. Don't bother with a second hand one - they will all be sufffering with similar levels of corrosion.

POST 8Original post

How easy was it to separate the joint at the rear? Mine are not moving and and bolt head may have to be cut off to release the joint.

POST 9Original post

I had to grind the head off mine. http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=140415

POST 10Original post

Drilled mine completely out and replaced with a longer bolt with a nut on the back.
