Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

It is not hard, but you have to run all new speaker wire going to all new speakers (Bose speakers are made supposedly for very low and odd resistance), and add an amplifier if you want a sub or if you want more amplification than the mosfet amps within the avic line.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I would like to get the D3 or Z2 Pioneer unit to add hands free for my I phone, I pod interegration. Can this be done with the Bose Most system, If price was not an issue would the Z2 be the way to go or is there something out there better that I should be looking at. I appreciate the advice. Regards, Drew

POST 2Original post

yes... you can but it takes an experienced installer to tweak the sub or put in a new one since you can't just drop in the pioneer...the d3 ipod setup is faster than a z2 but the z2 has a hard drive and 2 cd slots, so its up to you...ps: if the guy you get to install it has never done anything like this, you should probably keep looking...

It is not hard, but you have to run all new speaker wire going to all new speakers (Bose speakers are made supposedly for very low and odd resistance), and add an amplifier if you want a sub or if you want more amplification than the mosfet amps within the avic line. Also, don't remove the Bose amplifier, it's required to keep the fiber loop consistent; but you can remove the headunit without disrupting it. - Suneet
