Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Pelican Parts: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

996 Turbo Tip Help! In order to afford a 996 TT I bought a car that had been hit damaging the right fender and right front suspension and mildly tweaking the left rear suspension. The key would not come out the ignition so it was replaced. The key still is very difficult to remove and the gear shift is very hard to move back and forth taking two hands to force it into gear. 43,000 miles on the car. Any idea what has gone wrong with the tip and or gear changer? Everything else operates normally Thank you

POST 2Original post

Too many possibilities, best get it inspected by a good indy. Might give Dwain a call at Vision Motorsports in Laguna Hills. Paul
