Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Seems the only way to *mute* the audio with the PCM is to navigate through the menus and press mute. It is much quicker to just rotate the volume knob or press it and shut the whole system off, however I'd like to toggle the sound on/off, thus maintaining previous volume levels and nav state. Is there a shortcut or dedicated button like the *TP* on the CDR24 ?

POST 2Original post

You can 'Mute' the PCM if you have the muti-function wheel I believe. But I think you are correct in saying you can not without it.

Discussed here http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-electronics/3684-there-quick-way-mute-music.html but I never could figure out the answer.

POST 5Original post

I can confirm there is a quick mute option on the multi function wheel, you press the audio volume roller and the pcm mutes. For those without the sport wheel that have PCM , I can recommend retro fitting the multi function wheel controls. Skipping tracks and adjusting the volume is so much easier, and there are some nice touches allowing you to zoom the map scale , via the roller button on the wheel too. You can retro fit the MFW wheel controls yourself , but need the local dealer to reprogram the steering and pcm control units to make the controls active.

POST 6Original post

Not sure the buttons fit on the sports wheel and on my GT3 wheel the trim is dark grey and not silver as the switches are.
