So i was all set to do the fan resistor mod but it turns out the C4s has a different set up to the cigar shape resistors. So it looks like a little more work involved in replacing them as the resistors are mounted to the fan shroud and look completely different,my question is are the resistor values the same? :dont know: Thanks .

They are different as the C4S shares the cooling system of the Turbo which has a 3 stage fan as opposed to the regular 2 stage fan.

You need this from RS Components Arcol HS100 Series Aluminium Housed Axial Wire Wound Panel Mount Resistor, 500mΩ ±5% 100W Stock no.:188-071 Did one side of mine around a month ago.

The standard resistor will work. The C4S does share the same fan assembly as the Turbo, but the Turbo has a 3 speed fan. One of the speeds and therefore wires is obsolete on the C4S even though it is there and connected to the resistor. I can't remember which wire colour is obsolete, but Demort posted on it resently so search is your friend. JUST FYI - if your fan needs to be replaced, the standard fan from the c2 and C4 will work. Also discussed recently as I fitted it to mine 👍🏻

If you can wait a couple of weeks for delivery, the Ebay resistors from China are fine and very cheap.....
