Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

So your either buying a pre-written generic file for your make/model or, the seller will require you to upload the original file to them (how our TGT Flash and I think the top Dimsport one function), and they will modify your file and send it back to you and you can use the too lto put the newly written map on the car.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What are you guys using if any for doing your own remaps/tuning? I've found 3 that seem to be ok? Has anyone got an input on any of these,?

POST 2Original post

Until we sold the tuning arm of our company we used to have a similar device, called a TGT Flash. Essentially, your not writing your own tune usually with these type of devices, including any variant of a Alientech Powergate 3 (we branded these as TGT Flash back in the day). So your either buying a pre-written generic file for your make/model or, the seller will require you to upload the original file to them (how our TGT Flash and I think the top Dimsport one function), and they will modify your file and send it back to you and you can use the too lto put the newly written map on the car. The markup on this stuff is absolutely insane considering its literally just a file your uploading to your vehicle, in many cases a generic file bought from another tuner in the first place. Personally i'd recommend going somewhere to have the tune done rather than DIY, tends to be more accountable if anything goes wrong and they will have battery stabiisers etc. if they are any good for optimal flashing.
