Similar to you, mine was fitted with Bilstein's and set on 9 way to hard..so I lowered it and changed the settings to 5 on the rear and 4 on front so much better followed by 4 wheel alignment fast road well worth it after messing with suspension geometry..

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just a few thoughts folks. I fitted Michelin pilot super sports, on coilovers and Pagid RSL pads with new brembo discs.
The good bits, brakes are absolutely mental. Night and day different. The bite is totally transformed. Former ride but a few tweeks needed. 18 clicks of damping out of 30 and still a wee bit bouncy. Certainly made the car more planted feeling. Michelin's have loads more grip and since changing tyre sizes on the front have made the steering a bit more nimble.
Adjusted the ride height twice and still needs to go lower. Luckily it's a simple job.
Bad bits, the minute I stray onto a slightly loose surface it sounds like the wheel arches are being shot blasted. Honestly it's absolutely cringe worthy. Must be sticky rubber flinging the stones up!! Slight brake groan from pad when coming to a stop. I don't mind that to be honest. I've now picked up a few more rattles and squeeks inside the car.
I fitted a steering wheel I've just had retrimmed by royal. Grey perforated and alcantara. Lovely job and looks epic. Had it off twice and still a spline out from being straight......arrrghhh. 3rd time lucky.
Anyway just thought I would share my thoughts.
The coilovers in question are the PB cols am i right?
You rating them? Im interested, my suspension is looking very much past its best and its a toss up between fresh OEM spec bilsteins or some mid level coil overs (would love Ohnlins but need to curtail the spending if possible!)
I had exactly the same dilemma. I'm pleased with the coilovers overall however I'm in the back of nowhere and the roads here are not ideal. They are just about acceptable on really bumpy roads. On smoother roads they are excellent. When you adjust the damping it really does make a difference and quality is excellent. I would also LOVE Ohlins but just can't run to it at the moment.
On a different note I was hoping suspension change would sort out my nervous, driving on marbles steering. Alas not. When I bought my car it was on horrid 19's with tired suspension. I've changed to 18" and replaced suspension. It's now a lot worse........hmm, need to get to the mainland to get tracking and geometry looked at. It's surprising how much fitting 18's and sorting suspension gas made steering feel light and wayward.
Similar to you, mine was fitted with Bilstein's and set on 9 way to hard..so I lowered it and changed the settings to 5 on the rear and 4 on front so much better followed by 4 wheel alignment fast road well worth it after messing with suspension geometry.. New rubber 315's on the rear as I have GT2 with wheels with Pagid pad upgrade...
I'm definitely going to replace the coffin and tuning forks then get an alignment/geo check. Not sure whether standard or poly!! I'm trying to avoid harsh bushes that transmit vibration. I have the front and rear set the same for damping.......wondering if this is wrong!!! Should I be sifter front as there is far less weight?? In unchartered waters really as working life us mechanic and engines not suspension setting up.
