Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not technically a 996 but I will ask just the same.....just drove a 2012 Carrera S with all the PASM, P*** options, a wonderful car, really like the sport mode with the quicker engine response, why it can be turned off is beyond me, but to the question. While turning tightly to get into the parking spot I noticed the steering wheel actually just went to full lock by itself, I repeated the parking turn and sure enough after about 2/3 to 3/4 of the turns to lock the wheel instead of trying to self center gets pulled to full lock. Very weird, so is it normal for these cars ??? or is the alignment off ? I only tried left hand parking turns. Just curious, Thanks
