They are going to replace the faulty bottom section of the wing for me.

As soon as CEC and I finalize their sponsorship (waiting on some items from them at the moment) then they will be able to run group buys and did seem to show some interest in doing so.

i installed the wing one moth ago, and i just got the time to bring this topic up today.
i installed techart GT wing and it doesn't align well.
i tried to contact tech art but they don't give me any solutions, so i hope somebody can help me out..

why dont u try contacting CEC instead of TechArt ? or why not ask your body shop to help you alligned it. i'm sure there's a way.
It is ugly as sin...throw it in the trash or remove it and take it to Techart HQ and beat somebody with it...but don't put it on your car please!!!

I agree, your car looked great without that. Everybody has different taste but honestly that really looks tacky. I f you keep it on I hope your are able to get the allignment resolved to your satisfaction. :burnout:
How was it installed?
It looks like it can be adjusted. It's just the leveling so try to put some shims on the lower side (or the higher side depending on how it's installed and where the fasteners are,) so that the higher can get lower or the lower gets higher.
This is one of the reasons I'm not happy with TechART / CEC at the moment because they have told me on several occassions they want to become a sponsor but have held off for this or that reason. Just this past week they did not return 2 phone calls and an email that I sent to them. One of our other sponsors wants to run a TechART group buy and I am hesitant if this is the kind of customer service they provide. If they were a sponsor I would step in and make sure they made it right. If anyone talks to someone at either TechART or CEC you might stress that it is important that they give this some serious consideration. Just my 2 cents.
I've always heard good things about CEC. I've even read an article about how awesome they are in European Car magazine. Lets just hope they're backed up and not intentionally dissing you Ken.
i heard good things about CEC too.. thats why i ordered it thru them. i personally think they just need a better customer service. CEC didn't reply me or anything. but i still think Techart should have a better quality control.
i was wandering if anybody has installed the wing and has the same problem.
right now carlab are figuring out what to do, but yeah... i still hope techart or cec will help us resolve this..
PS: i hope CEC guyz or Techart will read this thread and help me out resolving this case. I'm really disapointed with this problem.
StatiX, I love what you did with your car, but this wing thing... Lets just say I can't say anything nice about it. Sorry. Everything else on your car looks just fantastic.

I think the wing looks awesome, it really depends on what kind of look you want. I am happy with the stock spoiler, but if I had money to burn I would go all out.

did you use the Adhesive for the CF caps?
were the caps too long hitting the CF adjustable gurney? mine are. I'm gonna have 2 cut about an inch off on each side. Call me.
Good News! I talked to Mark at CEC today and hooked him up with Statix and they are now taking care of his problem. In more Good News Mark is working with his counterparts to find a way to come onboard as an official sponsor! Looks like things are moving forward and hopefully everyone will come out happy. Glad to step in on your behalf StatiX and get things connected.

CEC said that the 1st Kit usually do have some missproduction problem, so i hope the rest of the product will not have any problems.
