Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

24 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 4Original post

Here is mine.... The wheels are a PS of the set I ordered. The company (DPE) made me a nice Photoshop of the wheels on my car. 20" powder coated matte black. Everything else on my car is on there now.

POST 5Original post

Miami Cayman, I think your car just turned me on a little. That is a sweet looking Cayman S and I love how the white on the lights is still white and the rest of it is black. How did you do it? Also are your windows tinted?

POST 6Original post

for some reason, i cant see the pics from miami.... damn comp....

POST 7Original post

At first I put on a tint i purchased at www.stickercity.com bought it by the foot, but it was just a trial b/c i knew it wouldn't look 100% perfect and that 20% tint wasnt as dark as I wanted for the tails (gave a merlot looking red). I went to my body shop, removed the tails, masked the white part of the tailight and painted it jet black...when you break the red light still shows very clearly, but when you're crusing its pitch black....been getting lots of compliments on it. =) Thanks Sunnet!

POST 8Original post

POST 9Original post

POST 10Original post

here's mine blacked out....i blacked out the entire light rather than leaving the whites white. Going for a completely grey and black theme.....only other colors that will be on the car are the colors in the emblems and the red from the calipers

POST 13Original post

how much did the tail lights run you? you've now got me thinking

POST 14Original post

I got my tail lights blacked out today for 100 dolars, i will post some pics probably tomorow

POST 15Original post

I paid about $60 or $70 for a bulk sheet of film from lamin-x and did my tail lights myself.

POST 17Original post

Nice, looks good. Aren't tints rated for their light transmission? What percentage is that?

POST 18Original post

I actually didn't get mine tinted, they painted them so i don't think they have a rating, but i think they are legal because i got pulled over yesterday and the cop didn't say anything about my tail lights, but i could be wrong.

POST 19Original post

Nice! What type of paint, and where is the shop located? Thanks, Chaseman

POST 20Original post

I live in souther california and i got my tail lights done at this place called auto experts in lake forest, if you live in the area you can call them at (949)457-1731, but I am sure if you call any performance car shop they can also do it for you.

POST 21Original post

how does it look when you are braking and when you are not braking....can you still see the light?

POST 22Original post

Thanks for the info. I too live in OC, so I check them out. Peace, Chaseman

POST 23Original post

btw, i was once pulled over by a police officer (he let me go) and he didnt say anything about the tinted lamp. it was because of something else.
