As an FYI I talked to Neil at Orton Performance about carrying Rinspeed parts and he can do it, but I think has been too busy to check into it further.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I like it. The quad set up is really nice and the rear bumper overall is not too busy. However, the only thing I don't like is the black valance around the pipes...I would much prefer it body colored.
WOW...looks awesome. Has a turbo feel to it with the air outlets.
Reminds me of the old BMW 330 Ci M pkg. with the blk.
Picture looks PS or like a model.
My feeling is that while it looks cool and different, there is no point to it. The
Cayman
/
Boxster
rear valence is different than
911
variants. I can appreciate wanting to set you car apart, but why do you want to make it look like you wish you had the other one. No one but you can define your dreams, if you like it, go for it. So, my "input on this setup!" is that IMO you shouldn't "un-
cayman
" ze auto.
You should, however, get what YOU want.
The
Cayman
's center-mounted exhaust outlets are unique, whereas this setup looks very conventional. Unless the exhaust routing gains a lot of incremental HP over an otherwise comparable aftermarket center-exit exhaust, I'd stick w/ a center exit.
As an FYI I talked to Neil at Orton Performance about carrying Rinspeed parts and he can do it, but I think has been too busy to check into it further. I'll ask him when he calls.
I think the Imola treatment is hot as hell, I've seen pictures of it on a silver and a white car and the cars look natural and unique. That said, it's just way too much money
looks good, but for that specific set up in the pics. i love the center set up we have currently, but i think if you plan on doing that set up in the pics, you need to have other mods also. i.e. wheels, body kits.
I love that rear treatment it is unique and sporty looking,it does not look like it is trying to be a
911
but very custom and well done. I myself like the origanal set up for mine, maybe some different tips on mine but i like that set up it is cool
personally i like it, just keep in mind that there are lots of other mods that have been done to that
cayman
to give it that "look". if you only do the bumper and dont do the other mods you might not get exactly what you are looking for. you may already know this, but you are going to have to switch out your exhaust from at least the cats back too. good luck and post pics if you do it!
Santa Fe try not to be so bah humbug eh? What if they stick the stock bumpers back on to sell the car? I put a GT3 bumper on my old
Boxster
and was going to swap it back for the original but the buyer preferred the GT3 bumper so I left it on. Bumpers are pretty easy to swap on our cars.
I like the Rinspeed set up, but I do agree with Chris here. I personally wouldn't make these changes to MY car unless the performance results were substantial...I just love the unique center system of the stock car
It would take a brave person to drive a car in that flouro high-lighter pen colour. One thing for sure is it will certainly get some MAJOR ATTENTION!!!
that set up looks good to me, as is the existing one.. if it was just another option I would think about which to get...
On the color.. I love it. I generally don't like the red but this bloody orange... love it.... probably my favorite now. wow.
The quad exhaust, and full Rinspeed kit for that matter, is awesome.
And regarding resale value, that is complete BS. The only time you'll ever have a problem selling a modified car is if you don't sell it to an enthusiast. If the buyer knows what he's getting, he will pay for the extra attention. And chances are, someone who spends that kind of change to modify a $70k+ car ends up taking really damn good care of it.
If it was a Honda, I would agree. Kills resale value. But that's because there are 5 gazillion Hondas with body kits out there. This is a
Porsche
, and that's a high quality kit. Much different.

I like the center location so much more. It is the
Cayman
look, why change it? D
The ones shown in picture just makew bumper look like a transplant from GTO.
