Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They fitted -30mm springs and didn't touch the geometry.

G11ATA, you need to get the fault codes read using a diagnostic.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Paramount have asked me to bring the car back soo they can take a look a get the issue resolved, i believe the mapping has caused this issue with the air flow meter and am dissapointed!
After having my car dynod on a rolling road, the PSM & ABS lights have come on saying there is a failure with both of them, if I switch the car off the lights go off then reappear after a short time of driving, can anyone help? :?:
G11ATA, you need to get the fault codes read using a diagnostic. OPC or a good Indy will do this and tell you what the problem is. Ask up-front if there will be a charge for this as some may want to.
Let us know what they say and the guys here will have more info.

If the message comes on when you give the car some stick, then it's likely to be the MAF sensor. If it is fairly random then it might be the brake light switch, or an ABS sensor. As Pete says, a diagnostic check should show the fault.
If you are anywhere near me I could do a check for you as I have a Porsche tester.
It'll probably be back, especially if it is the original MAF, and you have anything in excess of 50,000 miles on the clock. I'm a right little ray of sunshine, aren't I?
If these lights only come on after giving the car a good hiding, does this mean that the PSM and the ABS are actually switched off?
Chris at CoG said that these come on because the PSM is working away. He said they'd come on less often now the car's geo is setup...
?
If the lights are on, I believe PSM is disabled.
The reason a MAF problem causes the ABS/PSM failure is because the engine and ABS/PSM controllers are outputting conflicting information.
Paramount have asked me to bring the car back soo they can take a look a get the issue resolved, i believe the mapping has caused this issue with the air flow meter and am dissapointed! should I let these people continue on my car or should I ask for them to put the car back to standard and ask for my money back??
The car drives fine and the power difference is awsome but these lights should not be on?
Yes, outrageous garage that...
They fitted -30mm springs and didn't touch the geometry. 3,000 miles later I spun out at a roundabout with my family in the car, because the rear tyres we're totally bald, thanks to wrong wheel alignment. They were slicks, literally. The tyres were brand new when I took it to Paramount...
NOT good.
Well... They have been courtesious enough to provide mr with a new air flow meter from Porsche.... Everything seems ok for the mo car is pulling strong and running smooth
Your better off running remapped 996T's at the 5k RPM mark and upshifting on 5k. You will be amazed at how better they go.
Keep an eye on the rev counter and when you hit the 4.6k rpm start moving your arm for the next gear. By the time you get there you will be at the 5k rpm mark and the car is ready for the next big push.
Give it a go......I stopped using >5k rpm through the gears and the GT2 was quicker than taking it to/close to the redline in every gear. :thumb:
