Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Finally got round do doing a full disc and pad change, so easy... Used Sebro discs, Textar pads, new caliper bolts etc etc :thumb: And yes I did bed them in after...

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yup, discs, pads and sensors from ECP, caliper bolts from OPC... :thumb:

POST 5Original post

Nice job! I've got to do mine too at some point! I'm guessing that the parts came to around the £500 mark? It looks like you've aloready painted the 'hats' on the discs too....? Is this because they're not painted very well from new? How long did it take you to do all four wheels? I'm inspired. Must get on to it when I get back from France!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

To be honest I don't know the actual amount, you'd have to price it all up in one go, I bought in seperate purchases. Textar and Sebro are OEM for the C2 and not paying for the fancy Porsche box meant there was definitely a saving, in the hundreds. It's the labour which really adds it up. It took me about 2 hours taking my time and cleaning things. The Sebro discs come pre-painted so all I had to do was fit them... :thumb:

POST 7Original post

Textar pads from ECP were about £50 inc vat a year ago and the discs were about £60 each. The backs were not far off. Don't get the vibration dampers from OPC, they were about £100 all in. GSF did them for about £40 if I remember clearly. My 4 corners took about 4 hours in all.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I re-used mine. There's nothing wrong with them, the sticky part comes unstuck after 1 heat cycle so that part is pointless anyway. I checked them and they're in perfect order. Same with the pin kit, I replaced that less than a year ago when I last did my pads and they're still 100% good. Why waste money...
