Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Planet-9: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

My CS has suddenly developed (at 4500 miles) a buzz like a nest of bees directly above my head, which occurs around 3000 rpms. The slightest touch to the headliner makes it stop, but only as long as there is a touch. I have searched for this problem and it seems there are several folks experiencing it. There are references to clips being loose in the headliner. I can't seem to find information on whether anyone has had the problem resolved, however. Is there anyone out there who had this problem and was able to get it fixed? It seems some foam between headliner and roof might be the answer. I'm going to contact my dealer, but I'm not sure how much luck I'll have... Any insight would be greatly appreciated. The buzz is so loud "turning up the radio" is not an acceptable solution!

POST 3Original post

Looks like my search skills need some improvement! (I did at least find the last topic you've listed...) Thanks. It looks like there is a chance the dealer can help with this, so I'll give them a call.

POST 4Original post

I have the exact same problem, it started around 100 miles....looks like I'm off to the dealer as well
