Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I've been running a little hot with the A/C on and it being in the high 80's; stop and go traffic. Anyway I topped off the coolant and noticed the cap was leaking, no problem just ordered one form our host. After that I decided to clean out the radiators, that's when things went bad. Now the really bad part. The debris had built up so much behind the passenger side AC condenser was bulged out in the bracket and when I removed it it blew out at the mounting tab. (the tab on the right hand side of the picture) Thank goodness our host sells these as well and it's also on order now. But in short be very, very, careful when removing the condensers and they can break quite easily at that mounting tab.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Wayne for the fast delivery! All back together and pulling vacuum.

POST 3Original post

I've never seen one do that. ....And I've cleaned out a hundred minimum radiators. ...... How did the tab actually break?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just bad luck I think, when I was sliding it out of the bracket the tab just blew.
