Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hello all.. I had AOS failure about 1K miles ago. car lost about a 1 Qt of oil, which means it burnt through the combustion chamber and into the cylinder head. I am wondering if a complete fuel system cleaner like BG44 will help clean any remaining gunk? BG44 is a brand pushed heavily by my local Porsche dealer and am wondering if any of you guys have tried it? Thank you

BG44 is a reputable additive, as is Techron (by Chevron) - which is BMW's answer to cylinder/valve deposits.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
