What are your view, btw i have never test driven one b4, but have driven m3, m6, rs4 and have use of a 997c2s regularly.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm back.
After many searches i've finally found a 996 i like- tell me what you think.
2003 Coupe, Seal grey, leather. Sunroof, PCM +tip, carbon pack and x50 pack. [/b] 28000k Miles on clock.
3services in service booklet, 2 by porsche 1 by porsche indy. last service 24000k.
I'm poss buying from an indy, pending figures. PRICE: 41.000k.
6month warranty to be inc, and a service from Strasse.
What are your view, btw i have never test driven one b4, but have driven m3, m6, rs4 and have use of a 997c2s regularly.
It is a little pricey but the mileage is low. You guys think it will hold value? what value you think i'll get in 4yrs? I only do 4k per year. What should i be looking out for?
Thanks for taking the time to read, any help much appreciated.
Crazy cash for a 911 2003 car!!! But if you want one that bad then go for it, just remember it's only fellow 911 owners who will know the difference between that and a Boxster!!! Good point on the resale value though, not sure anyone knows the real answer to that!!
911 purchase
Given this has x50 factory up grade price reasonable as not many of these around.Which indy did service? Good colour spec. Does it have sat nav bose mem seats etc all important on resale. What bar does it hit on full chat with x50 should hit 0,9 to 1.0 when you test drive hammer it and put bar on computer.Dealers now saying turbos now at bottom will not go down seem to have settled. Also with the number of " cheap" turbos people will buy and not be able to have serviced correctly so there will be alot of tut out there. If you want to talk in more detail let me have number .

Seems overpriced IMHO
Friend of mine just picked up a 2 owner 2001 silver/black X50 TT with 30k, lots of nice options and fsh (OPC and Parr) that is absolutely mint for £31k (privately).
Keep looking on pistonheads as cars do come up quite regularly
the car has:
bose pcm2, heated seats, sports exhaust, sport seats and full carbon pack. oh and also sunroof, and is tip.
Fully loaded basically.
I'm considering it cos i don't drive the car much, and hope that the price will keep stable.
Serviced by Strasse Porsche.
Whats this about the BAR reading? Should be test driving it on weekend.
I was after an 04 plate, however come re sale in 3/4yrs i'm hoping the mileage will be able to give that little extra on the price.

The better the spec and the better the history and lowish miles all helps at resale time
4 years on?? £20k - 25k maybe.
I paid just over £50K for an 2005 Turbo S cabriolet with full spec - £115,000 new so long way down. Makes your price seem high + mine has full Porsche history + warranty
very interesting what you say about the sport seats.
Maybe it was added on at a later date? Well i wonder what else has been added on!!!!
The re-sale for approx 20-25 seems reasonable, and as said b4 i won;t be putting much mileage on it
thanks for all the responses.
sorry i meant sports exhaust, not seats.
by the way the car i'm looking at has 28000on the clock.
3service stamps in the book.
The last service was done by Porsche dealer 02/04/2008 at 23127.
When will the next service need to be done? and will it be a major or minor?

If you fancy spending more cash, Porsche Byfleet have today bought in an 8000 mile Turbo S
No more details but you might fancy giving them a call. Price? £55k ish I would think
