Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Unique porsche in westhoughton, near-ish to Manchester. They used to do a mobile service, but i dont know if they still do (they’re now in a bigger unit and always seem busy).

POST 2Original post

Hartech are based in Bolton so are pretty close to Manchester.

POST 3Original post

Ninemeister or Unit11 are in Warrington so dependent on exactly where in Manchester the car is the ones above cover off most regions.

POST 4Original post

They need the car (close to Alderley Edge) which might not work but worth making work if you can. https://sportsandclassic.com/pre-purchase-inpectio...

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank all, very helpful! Looks like I need to talk to the owner if he can tax the car so that it can be driven to a place for PPI. I tried ringing Unique Porsche to find out if they do mobile service - but they never pickup!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Unique doesn't do mobile service anymore . Even for in garage check it is a month waiting time it seems!. Hartech is yet to get back to me, but I would assume same kind of waiting time. An independent Porsche specialist person would be ideal. Any suggestions agin please? thanks in advance

Would save the car needing to be taxed.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Newbie in this forum - looking to buy a 2009 Carrera S 997-2. The car is far away from where I live, so looking to get a PPI done by someone who can be trusted. - can anyone suggest good place in and around Manchester for PPI? It will be even better if I can find someone who can travel to the car, as the car is on SORN for last 1-2 months - any idea what the cost range would be for a PPI? - the car has only run 2-3K miles each per year in last 3 years, would that hint any problem? Total mile age is 60K though Appreciate any suggestions or help on this please thanks Edited by mostwantedsince77 on Sunday 12th November 13:54

I was looking at a 2015 Cayenne Turbo at the same time and got mixed up lol. No, I just got one login. But I changed username after initial registration and looks like it took some time to reflect the change Edited by mostwantedsince77 on Sunday 12th November 14:02
