Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have just gone through the 111 point check sheet, it does not mention anywhere about the front wheel arch liners, should I bring this up with them as they only have a very minute crack in them?
Leading evidence: 'Check sheet' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check sheet' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

While I will not pass comment on West London OPC I can highly recommend Mid Sussex (Burgess Hill), they seem to take a more customer friendly view on things.

I had to get the RMS repaired and the front discs replaced before they would extend my warranty.

Sorry about your troubles, I would suggest using a different OPC in future.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Sent car in for warranty renewal, I need to get a genuine Porsche battery, inside front wheel liners, four wheel alignment done, any suggestions where I can get original parts apart from Porsche themselves?
I asked for the "free" health check that some OPC's participate in, but specifically mentioned that I need to re-new the warranty, so would like to know what needs to be replaced, before I "pay" for the 111 point inspection.
Having said this the battery seems to one the OPC's all identify. The wheel liners and GEO are a first on me.
I had to get the RMS repaired and the front discs replaced before they would extend my warranty.
Hmm, seemed you picked a corker. I had more negative than positive experiences at Chiswick, but had to go there there as I had the warranty and they are closest to me. I celebrated (literally - I took some ribena's and fruit shoots from their fridge) on the day I had my final service there (car no longer warrantied). I'm so glad I dont ever have to go back there.
PS - the ozzie (?) guy in charge of the 'service consultants' is actually okay, the others are all complete numbnuts.
PPS - dont just take my word for it though, I think there is someone on here who likes chiswick (a TT owner I think, cant remember exactly).
A Geo to get the warranty
That's a new one. While I will not pass comment on West London OPC I can highly recommend Mid Sussex (Burgess Hill), they seem to take a more customer friendly view on things.
It doesn't surprise me Dave as if your tyres are near the limit they will also expect you to change them before the warranty is issued. In fact, any item which "isn't" covered under warranty has to be rectified before the warranty is issued, my brake discs for instance!!. :dont know:
I have just gone through the 111 point check sheet, it does not mention anywhere about the front wheel arch liners, should I bring this up with them as they only have a very minute crack in them?
I feel this new warranty scheme is just crazy, also forgot to mention that they also want me to purchase a new key fob as my button is slightly worn???
FFS, that is ludicrous. get on the phone to anyone that will listen and rant. Don't stop ranting until those idiots see some bl00di sense...
It is either THE most ridiculously specified document in history or it's being implemented by complete idiotic pedants who have no concept of Customer service/retention or indeed common sense. A key fob button..........
tell me about it, I wasn't impressed they must think people stupid, as far as I knew it anything that comes faulty within the111 point check that's what has to b sorted, it does not mention anywhere on the check list about arch linings or a key fob, I mean come on I have a perfectly fine battery in the car and I'm going to have to spend over £150 for that has a Porsche sticker on it even tho Porsche get their batteries from Bosch
:hand:
get over to OPC Byfleet aka Camtune
http://www.porschehost.com/home.asp?opc=41
Byfleet, Surrey not too far from Jct 10 M25
much nicer, speak to Tim the main service man
hate to say 'I told you so', but...
I TOLD YOU SO... :hand:
and similar other comments on numerous threads since the new warranty conditions were announced!
If you read the T & Cs of the used car warranty they can refuse to renew if ANYTHING needs doing to the car - regardless of whether it is covered by the warranty or the 111-point check! So a scratch here, a scored brake disc there, a cracked piece of trim, etc....
I'm amazed anyone still goes to an OPC with anything other than a car under new car warranty, to be honest :?:
