Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Comments: I have the same problem as Allen from Dec 1 2013 above I installed a new vent valve to solve hard starting. I have the same sensor hanging by 2 wires and now can not fill with fuel. Where does the sensor go, will that solve the problem? September 28, 2014 Followup from the Pelican Staff: Can you share a photo of the sensor or can you identify it from our tech article and point it out to me? - Nick at Pelican Parts See the attached photo. __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here:

GREAT! Thanks for sharing the photo. There is a small black plastic molded piece that is fitted to the filler neck. That magnetic switch pops into that black piece. It should be obvious that it fits inside of it. WITHOUT it installed, you will have the issue you are experiencing. - Nick
