I'm pretty handy but I don't have ramps or the balls to do this job so I handed it to the independent Porsche specialist I use, Quorn Sports & Classics run by two ex OPC master techs whom I trust implicitly.

It's lined up nicely using the existing tips and for me it sounds perfect.

Ideally I would have liked something used to save a bit of cash but there just isn't a lot of used stuff about right now.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After lots of searching and debating (not mass) I eventually decided on a Kline exhaust. Ideally I would have liked something used to save a bit of cash but there just isn't a lot of used stuff about right now.
I shortlisted Kline, Topgear and Europipe based on my maximum price bracket and recommendations from owners experienced with the brands.
I searched YouTube as best I could but the videos are limited and let's face it, no video can give any system a fair crack due to the many different devices being used to play/record the audio. So really recommendations and price were the two factors driving my decision.
I think exhausts are a very personal choice - what one owner thinks sounds perfect, another may dislike. My requirements for an exhaust were a deeper and louder tone, especially when driving. I wanted to retain the 'Porsche" sound though. I highly doubt I will remap the turbo or upgrade turbos/intercoolers and the such like so performance gains weren't really a consideration.
I've previously owned a C4S with PSE which sounded sublime but accepted the turbo would never sound like that. Also my previous daily was an 8V RS3 with a sports pipe and valve mod which when open was antisocially loud with lots of pops and bangs - Although my turbo isn't my daily, that's not what I was looking for here.
In the end I decided a new Europipe was just outside my price bracket so I emailed Felix from Kline and Topgear via this forum. I received polite and helpful replies from both. Felix got back to me a few hours prior to top gear which is how I ended up buying a Kline system - as I say, the reply from top gear was just as polite and helpful.
Felix was absolutely first rate to deal with - honest and quick with his responses to my many emails. He was clear on the price including delivery and tax direct from the Kline factory in Romania to my door in Derbyshire. The date for dispatch was bang on. All in all it was about 4 weeks from order to delivery.
The exhaust arrived via UPS trackable delivery and I was able to pay securely via PayPal. The exhaust was very well packaged indeed as were the 200 cell cats supplied.

The car was in for other work (service, mot, front end repaint, rear bumper paint, new air con pipe, find and fix a rattle etc) so plenty to keep them going. They said the exhaust took a little bit of fiddling about to get it perfect but it fitted well. One o2 sensor broke it's threads coming out the OEM exhaust so I had to pay for one of those but 3 out of 4 ain't bad! All in all about 4 hours labour (some of the bolts on the OEM exhaust had already been dealt with previously.
The exhaust looks superb - very well made with great attention to detail. It's lined up nicely using the existing tips and for me it sounds perfect. A distinctly deeper tone, a little louder on start up and idle but it comes into its own when driving - simply fantastic and at full chat it really opens up - I had the window down on the 25 mile drive home, even on the motorway!
All in all I'm delighted. Carl and Nathan at Quorn Sports & Classics we're superb as always I can highly recommend them and I do not say that lightly - you can trust these guys with your pride and joy. Likewise Felix at Kline was a credit to his company and a man of his word.
A brilliant experience which I thought I should share in case it helps anyone else.
If you're still awake after reading all that drivel a few pics and a fairly crappy video of mine are below (Video links to YouTube) - I hope to strap a GoPro to the rear bumper in the near future to capture the noise whilst driving.

Great review! :thumb:
Just recently put the same exhaust on my 996T and would agree, it sounds very good for a turbocharged car, but obviously not as a good as an NA boxer 6 or V8.
Re not having ramps - I've found these to be a very workable compromise, get's the rear end just high enough to get under the back of the car and poke around, plus they split in two for easier storage:
