Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

As the image shows the back of the top is pulling out when I try and close it and was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. https://imgur.com/gallery/pJWH7Gm

POST 2Original post

Most likely your cables popped off. Open the top half way and look on either side towards the back of the top/car, there is a cable connected to the top frame and it pops into a metal ball on the chassis, this is to keep tension and stretch the top. This could be something that you or someone else could easily forget when opening the engine cover for service. Pop those cables back in and it should sit right. Check your manual for more details, it explains the process of opening the top and cables will be mentioned there.
