Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

then checked circuit it was burned so i had to changed the circuit.
Leading evidence: 'Check circuit it was burned so i had' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'trackers battery wearing out' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check circuit it was burned so i had' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I changed battery also but still there was same issue.

Suspected cause
I believe the issue with car battery drain suddenly getting worse is due to the trackers battery wearing out.
Outcome qualification: Negation, uncertainty or missing explicit repair resolution overrides the raw extraction signal.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've developed a problem with my battery going flat, I'm going to check for drain with my multi meter when I find it. Now my car has a tracker that was installed before I bought it so wondering if this could be the issue, I've never activated the tracker so hoping I could remove it and see if this helps, question is where should I search for this about.
I had an old tracker on mine and it would absolutely pancake the battery in 7 days. If you contact tracker with your reg no, chassis no and tracker reference they will point you to its location. Mine was behind the rear seats but they use a few different locations for obvious reasons.
Good luck!
Well I managed to check this out today with my multi meter, I'm getting 00.85 amp of a drain, would I be correct in saying that this isn't too bad, the figure stayed steady at this rate IE no spikes
faced the issue of battery draining too rapidly for 2 months.
I changed battery also but still there was same issue.
then checked circuit it was burned so i had to changed the circuit.
now everything is fine and using a deep cycle battery
I found that battery from
here
..
question:
anybody facing the same problem which i faced

I purchased the ctek battery monitor to keep an eye on my battery as I'm having similar drain issues
Have a new bosch s5 fitted
Only thing is I've no idea much a battery should drain on average if just sat there
All I know is it didn't used to die as quick as it does now!
From what I've read on the forum likely culprits could be my y strap
Or others could be an old tracker (which I do have on mine somewhere but hasn't been an issue till now)
I've also had some form of central locking issue over the last few months which without me realising left all the interior comfort lights on which caused a huge drop
So a good few things it could be on mine
:nooo:
But atleast now with the monitor I know when I need to charge it so I don't completely kill the battery like I did my last one
I recently removed 2 trackers from my car
One under the rear seat, the other behind the glove box
I believe the issue with car battery drain suddenly getting worse is due to the trackers battery wearing out. They charge when the car is running then don't drain the car battery when the car isn't being used. When it fails it draws on the car battery all the time.
should be max 0.04-0.05 amps for a "normal" car asleep.
Mine is draining at 0.14, which is not tragic, but still annoying. Just means I have to drive it every week.
I'm happy to get stuck into the oily bits but im useless when it comes to electrical terms (a wiring diagram looks like the matrix to me)
In terms of battery % from 100 to 0% what sort of % drop would you expect to see over a day/ week etc
As thats what I can see on my ctek battery monitor
Well tonight while checking for a possible drain I came across a very faint buzzing noise from what I assume is the horn for the alarm, this is located near the battery, I assume it shouldn't be making this noise. Unfortunately I couldn't check drain with multi meter tonight. I have unplugged the connector for the mean time. What would cause this to buzz, faulty horn/sounder
The horn for the alarm is left side of battery or the o/s/f .
Ive had these fail before and blow the alarm CU fuse but never cause a discharge .. its possible but im unsure here .. it would need to be active to actually cause a drain .. in that case it would be rather noisy as the alarm would be going off .
Do a battery discharge check then unplug it .. you'll soon see if the discharge drops .
In short with a drain you pull fuses until you see the discharge drop .. then you have a fuse and a circuit to work on for the fault .
if possible borrow or buy an amp hound .. it makes light work of finding a fuse with a discharge ..
usual culprits after a tracker ..
Radio ..
Glove box micro switch has broken ..
Something jammed alongside the passenger seat pushing the tilt seat back button .
Alarm CU under the passenger seat damp .. water bottles .
Disconnect the boot and bonnet lights just to be certain there .
