Sorry but I can't help with your question but I'd be very interested on how your car handles once you have the PB suspension fitted & set up as was very close to buying a set myself although I ended up going the M030 route in the end.

I have pb coilovers fitted to mine and I just positioned mine and used the drop link bolt to pinch it,not had any issues :thumb: I've had them on about 4 years now and even though I run at a hated ride height I think they are pretty comfortable and good coilovers for the price

Am I being dumb and missing something or does it just slide through till it just protrudes through the carrier then tighten the pinch bolt?

Hi folks. I'm installing a set of pb coilovers after reading some great reviews. The question I have is most of the kits I have looked at have a smooth tube with the collars to adjust height/spring etc at the top of the tube. The standard shock body has a tongue/tab with a hole that the pinch bolt goes through. This dictates how far through the shock body goes into the carrier/hub. With no tab/tongue the shock can slide down until it hits the collars???? Most aftermarket kits seem the same. Am I being dumb and missing something or does it just slide through till it just protrudes through the carrier then tighten the pinch bolt? Does it just rely on the pinch bolt pressure to hold the strut in place? I hope this makes sense and thanks for any help. Cheers.

pb? The Bitstein coilovers have a plate to align with the hub coller and pinch bolt. Similar to oem.

I will certainly report back mate. Nearly went Mo30 but after reading A LOT the on seemed astounding value for money. Seemingly go from soft/plush ride to firm for track. I went for the rubber top mounts. I did not want to fit pillow mounts as don't want any harshness. I'll let you know how I get on. Quality seems excellent out of the box.
