I havent used Fabsil on the Porsche roof. But have used it on our airbeam awning - its brilliant stuff and didnt leave any marks, but is great at repelling the water.....So would imagine it would be fine on a Porsche roof, but definitely be good to hear from someone who has actually done it....

Steve I used Fabsil Gold on my 996 cab. It was brilliant. Easy to apply. Didn't leave the fabric tacky just well proofed. You might need to use more than one can. Clean your roof first then two coats of fabsil (or a third) until it beads beautifully and water just bounces off it. My son has just got a 320 convertible and I was straight out with the Fabsil. I'm about to get some for Mrs Goldstar's Boxster. Found this info For lightweight canvas materials, the coverage will be around 7-10sq metres per litre and For medium weight canvas it will be 5-7sq metres per litre. *Top Tip* As a pre-treatment, we recommend cleaning your gear before applying Fabsil Gold The roof can only be about 3 sqm so a litre would appear to be good for 2 coats.
