Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

For you 911 guys: I think this is a base 991 with a duck tail. I only see an aero kit listed as an option which included the duck tail and a fixed wing. What is this? Is it aftermarket? Sorry for such a basic question.

POST 2Original post

It's a factory duck tail. The wing is additional to the aero kit.

POST 3Original post

I agree the duck tail looks factory. But the configurator clearly shows both the duck tail and the fixed wing as part of the aero kit. I am missing something.

POST 4Original post

I believe it is called a Sports Design package, not Aerokit Cup, which adds the wing and a different front splitter.

POST 5Original post

Just looked it up and you are correct. The sports design package only adds the Duck tail. The Aero kit Cup also adds the fixed wing. Thanks guys! SportDesign Package Includes: Revised front fascia, front spoiler and rear spoiler

Matt is right. It this Sport Design "Ducktail" Spoiler:Suncoast Porsche Parts & Accessories

POST 7Original post

That ducktail was what was giving me trouble when I was deciding between a Cayman S and a 911. I really wanted it, but I preferred driving (and hearing the Cayman). No regrets.

POST 8Original post

I took the picture in the original post while walking into a wine bar. When I walked out, these were parked right out front. Of course I had to stop and have my wife hop out to take this pic. Here is another 911 with a wing. ...oh and let's not pass over the 987 with the classic color scheme. I was thinking of SteveInNJ's spyder build....... I must have some cool neighbors who hide these cars in their garage most of the time.

POST 9Original post

Why does Porsche recommend that the ducktail be fitted in conjunction with the bumper? Also does this ducktail also lift with speed? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
