Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Reported cause
I had the same issue last year & it turned out to be the old favorite of the corroded ferrules on the end of the hoses.
Leading evidence: 'favorite of the corroded ferrules' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'favorite of the corroded ferrules' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean welds nicely packed, i am very happy' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Not that big a deal to replace, just remember to vacuum fill the system afterwards.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My C4S has been in the garage on a C-tek, SORN,d since the end of November. A combination of salt, storms and lockdown had prevented me from bringing her out.
Getting some Things out of the garage at the weekend I noticed a small pool under the front of the n/s wheel arch which was greasy in feel. Reaching under the bumper you could feel some dampness at the base of the rads. So I put down some paper to see how much was coming out - not much, just the occasional drip.
Out of habit, I checked the drivers side and it was exactly the same - damp and slight dripping. What are the odds - quite high I suspect.
So, while lockdown is underway and I wait for my Indy to reopen, what are the best options for replacement parts and from where - Behr Hella? Or are there better options out there?
Thanks in advance.
I just bought 2 radiators and 2 condensors from here

which I will be fitting these weekend. Ordered at 2pm Monday and they were delivered Tuesday lunchtime.
Quality looks very good, as in clean welds nicely packed, I am very happy for the price.
First off, I'd get the bumper off & confirm if the rads are leaking.

Thanks for the insight - I had rather feared the worst, but perhaps this was premature...
Do you recall whether the replacement hoses were pricey?
I know some of them can be when the ferrule gives out (PAS hoses in the wheel arch if I recall correctly?).
I fitted two new rads onto my C2 996 last year. Quite a lengthly job but easy enough and a real money saver of you can DIY. My only tip is buy one of these. I lost about 2 hours faffing with incorrect tools trying to remove hose clamps from awkward positions. This thing did the job in seconds.

I just replaced my lower hoses n LH. and RH side. Easy job. I collected the cool and in a bucket as it is only 10 months old and then put it through coffee filters to make sure there was no grit in it before putting it back in. Still need to add some more and bleed it properly.
I bought the hoses from Porsche as they were cheaper than buying elsewhere. 10% discount for Porsche club members helps.
I coated the ferrules in Dynax to slow their future demise...
And just be aware that the spring clips that hold the hoses in place corrode too and do not come with the new hoses. So if you do have to replace a hose to save yourself grief order new clips too.
Buy a tool yes but look on Ebay and don't spend more than £10.

You may find the 'non-remote' type ok and they are very cheap.
