Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

On smooth roads, they are not as loud as used sports tires.

I have a 99 996 C2 and want to get good set of tires to use for both AX and DE.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

When researching, I was not able to find much on this site, but did elsewhere. All I can say is that they grip A LOT more thant he Conti 2 and Yoko AVS Sport. They are a little slick on the wet, but when dry, its pretty fun!
Sidewalls are a bit stiff. They do not make much noise when reaching the limits. Only had them for 800 miles, look like new, really liking them. This is what they look like on my car (225/40 & 265/35). On smooth roads, they are not as loud as used sports tires. On rough pavement, well, that is an entirely different thing. Drove a Cayman S with Pilot Sport 2 the other day and my car sticks far beyond what the Cayman S does in 19".
AWESOME TIRES!
I had those on my miata for awhile. Got 2 track days out of them, warmed up quick and stuck til the end of the session. Only got about 2000 miles out of them, but it was a really fun 2000 miles.
I really wished they made those in 19" sizes.
I thought about them but ended up with Yokohoma AD07 because they had the rears in 285/30 and Falken only had 265/35. Is there any advantage or disadvantage with a 265/35 as oposed to a 285/30?
Just had my 6th day with the Falkens at the track, they are holding up very well, much better than my Mich. Pilots. The Pilots were cupping at the track and I had to take them off because they lost large chunks out of the front tires. The Falkens seem like a good street/track tire. I'm not having any wear issues at the track other than normal. Haven't had them out in the rain yet, not sure I want to.
k
Unfortunately, they don't have them in my size 295-30-18 for the rears
conti SportContact2's are out of stock,
I guess I'm going with the Kumho Ecsta SPT's as several members here have recommended them.
I have a 99 996 C2 and want to get good set of tires to use for both AX and DE. I have 8" fronts and 10" rears. I've looked at the Falkens 615s and the price for performance seems pretty good from what I can see. I noticed that the rears only come in 265, 275, and 315.

I think 235 front and 275 rear would work. I would rather have 285s in the rear but that's not possible with these tires. Any opinions/advice?
