Also, I'm in the burning AZ heat so going to use 0-40, and that's what's the prior owners used from looking at the Porsche dealer records.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It seems Walmart is the place to buy oil, $22.88 for 5qt jug of Mobil 1 full synthetic and $7 for K&N filter. They don't list crush washer by name, only by size. What is the size needed for the drain plug? Also, I'm in the burning AZ heat so going to use 0-40, and that's what's the prior owners used from looking at the Porsche dealer records. Also, they have a really cool 15qt drain container for $10 that I saw on Amazon for $20

POST 2Original post

Buy the crush washers from the forum host they are inexpensive. Depending on the age and mileage of your car... You may want to consider using a 5-40 spec oil due to the heat in AZ. I have been using probably some of the most expensive oil I have ever put in any vehicle I've ever owned. Joe Gibbs DT-40. Gets hot here in CT too. I think many will agree changing the oil is the best thing you can do for these cars. Enjoy.

For sure, buying the window regulator from them. And also some rear suspension parts when I figure out when the little clunk is in the right rear.

POST 6Original post

It’s an 18x24 aluminum washer. Part #900-123-106-30 for reference.
