Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After going backwards and forwards on genuine Porsche Brake pipes vs replacing with Cunifer, I am looking at going down the road of making my own. What size Brake Fittings do I need from the list in the picture. I am sure the thread is M10 / 1mm but slightly confused as the joining block underneath the nearside sill seams to have two different sized nuts, is the thread still the same?

POST 2Original post

They are definitely bigger fittings (incl threads) so the pipes cannot be accidentally transposed. Dont know the size though as I bought porsche pipes. Ian

POST 3Original post

Most European cars use M10 x 1 but I'm unsure of the bigger thread on the join you mention.

POST 4Original post

Just taken cover off and measure with verniers there will be thread protruding.
