Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 986Forum: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have a source for the remote micro switch buttons? I looked on mouser but only saw reels of 2700! I need 3. It's for a 2004 Boxster

POST 2Original post

You can find them on eBay. I did switch replacement on one of my key fobs. Very easy if you have half decent soldering skills. Here's the URL to where I bought mine.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, but they don't ship to Canada apparently.

POST 4Original post

I will be happy to help you out. How many switches do you need? I'll charge you at cost to me, order them and then send them to you by mail. You can PM me if you want to take me up on it.

POST 5Original post

Lifted this from a RennTech thread while I was researching the same topic: Mountain Tactile Switch Part: 101-TF25S-EV Dimensions: 7.3mm 3.8mm 2.5 mm Operating force: 400gf Link: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/101-TF25S-EV

Also worth noting from the RennTech DIY article :

POST 8Original post

I saw the same thing (vendor was only selling in large quantity). I called them and the minimum was like 6 switches. I used two and rest of the quantity away.

Just searched Mouser and it looks like they sell the same component in 300gf -

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
