Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suspected cause
My drivers seat creaked a bit - initially I thought it was the door around the hinge on compartment lid as it rarely happened (sit in the seat, lean towards the centre console and wriggle would make it happen).
Leading evidence: 'door around the hinge' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'door around the hinge' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check bolts' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

4) Next time you clean/condition the seat just do the visible areas on each cushion/booster not the gaps/ touching surfaces.

3) Only condition/clean visible leather with appropriate dedicated product (not the gaps/ contact area between two surfaces) a damp cloth will also do the job if you do not have a cleaner.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

This has worked for me on many a car creaky leather.
Thankfully I have not noticed any rattles or strange noises from the car in the car, but the seats do creak a bit when sitting in them. It could just be that I am a heavy load at 16+ stone. Other than going on a diet is there a fix for the creaking that most find works ? Leather conditioner or WD40 perhaps ?? Or just a case of "it's part of the ownership experience ?
Some sort of leather conditioner between the upright and the base ..
The creaks from these even drive me nuts at times and i only road test the cars !
Basically you need something that will give a bit of slip .. WD40 would but i'm not sure how leather would react to that .
Don't shoot me down...Might sound a bit mad, . But try a bit of Baby Talc Powder in between the upright and the side bolsters and everywhere two leather surfaces meet. Gently massage it in. Wipe excess off and treat all visible leather to a good dedicated conditioner to remove any visible signs of Talc.
Talc is one of the best non oil / water based lubricates. People use if for dry massages, especially pregnant women !

Give it a try and let us know how you get on.
Trick is not to use loads of talc, just enough to create a good dry lubricant between the surfaces. Quite often its the leather conditioners / cleaners which can introduce/ increase creaks as the two surfaces rub against each other, also most leather these days is synthetic, so all points to remember.
Top tips are:
1) Pull edges apart , get your hand in the gaps/joins between two surfaces and massage it in to all adjoining surfaces on both contact sides, ensure you do the whole chair on all contact surfaces, not just where you think you have a creak, then let the seat go back to its natural resting position. If you have a reclining chair, flip the back and go through motion of movement to apply talc and remove further excess from top and bottom cushion gaps.
2) Remove excess talc from top visible side of cushion on each bolster/cushion, but leave talc rubbed in, in gap. (wipe away, give the seat a few hard taps,,, don't be surprised if u get a bit of talc which puffs out on first hard taps of seat, just wipe away and tap on seat and repeat until its reduced. This is a sign you have used too much if it turns into a scene from ' Stars in their eyes ' as the contestants come on stage ...
with a huge cloud of smoke,.... but vice versa if nothing appears on first tap you may not have used enough). Don't panic just wipe away excess. Sit in the seat and have a wiggle, recheck gaps and ensure talc has reached all contact areas. It should already be quieter / creak free.
3) Only condition/clean visible leather with appropriate dedicated product (not the gaps/ contact area between two surfaces) a damp cloth will also do the job if you do not have a cleaner. This will ensure gaps remain dry lubricated and hopefully eliminate/ reduce your creaks without a white talc bum!
4) Next time you clean/condition the seat just do the visible areas on each cushion/booster not the gaps/ touching surfaces. Otherwise you may have to repeat steps 1-3.
5) Sit in seat and enjoy a creak free experience!

Jungle.
My drivers seat creaked a bit - initially I thought it was the door around the hinge on compartment lid as it rarely happened (sit in the seat, lean towards the centre console and wriggle would make it happen). Tracked it down and it sounded like it was coming from the bottom of the seat between the electrical adjustment switches and the seat back.
Liberal silicone lubricant in the hinge area into the seat and moving the seat up and down on it's runners did the trick.
Moving it on the runners was the key so success... I know that sounds stupid but I had sprayed to no effect.. moved the seat to check the bolts to remove it and it went away!!
