Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 2Original post

You need a set something like this... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amtech-J1940-Trim-Body-Molding/dp/B00BTF6T5K Just google 996 C pillar trim removal - there are lots of results!!

POST 3Original post

Get a set of plastic trim tools off Amazon, just the basic set will be fine. From memory the side panel clips into the c-pillar so that needs to come off first. And to remove the side panel, it's much easier to take the b-pillar off first (which also really helps removing the c-pillar, remove it from the front). To remove the side panel you'll also need a set of spline drives to remove the brace for the rear seat, and you'll need a 17mm hex i think to remove the top seatbelt point.
