Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I bought the MD802 for my 2008 CS and their phone support was great when I ran into some setup issues years ago.
Leading evidence: 'Run into some setup issues years ago' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace but this year, try as i might' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. Suggestion
It used to work in past year oil changes but this year, try as I might, it will not reset the service interval.

Suggestion
Used it to reset the the coolant temp gauge on my cluster after an implausibility code caused it to stop working.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

+1 for iCarsoft Por-II being one of the cheaper options to reset service reminders. Also a great tool for data logging and reading almost every code.
Just make sure you're getting the Por-II and not the earlier model, as the earlier model could not reset service messages on our cars.
Started with the
Foxwell
NT510. After weeks of empty engineering promises & subsequent firmware changes,
the thing still won't reset the service light on my 06 CS MT.
I love investing my time trying to get things to work as advertised...the primary reason for purchase was to reset that pesky light.
It did pull the rev report off the
ECU
, albeit in a very primitive format. Interesting as it did some other things ok too... Well after weeks of back & forth, the nice Chinese woman said to send it back with tracking. Insert joke here...$5 less than I paid for the unit just to ship it back, cheapest tracked option. Trade imbalance anyone?
So yes, PORII (from
Amazon
this time, see I can be taught), did the service reset ok. Not much else though. Airbag and radio reset absent. $300+ later, I should have just got the Duramatic.
Used it to reset the the coolant temp gauge on my cluster after an implausibility code caused it to stop working. Pretty sure it will reset service indicator, when I get an opp to test I'll report back.
Put me down as a very unsatisfied Cresetter II owner. I have tried many times, all unsuccessful, to use it on my '16
Cayman
and '17
Cayenne
. Nope. I even downloaded the update software but can find no way to get it to upload on the device. All I get are error messages, and I think its a piece of Chinese junk(as opposed to American, French, or Algerian junk).
JMO.
I have the
Autel
MaxiDiag Elite MD802. It used to work in past year oil changes but this year, try as I might, it will not reset the service interval. A very frustrating interface. It does not remember inputs so one needs to reinput a lot, with up and down arrow keys that sometimes don't work. A bad website with no proper help function.
I have the Durometric and the
iCarsoft
POR III version for the EPB option. I think the ver. POR II does the same. I like the
iCarsoft
better because no need for laptop on simple things. If you need real time graphics and data logging, Durametric is good.
I bought the MD802 for my 2008 CS and their phone support was great when I ran into some setup issues years ago. I added the Honda\
Acura
access to it last month for $10 when I had to do my rear brakes on my Accord that has an electronic parking brake.
