Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone, Does anyone know whether the scavenge oil pump on the right hand side of the engine at the rear can be removed with the exhaust in place? I need to replace the oil "O" ring on it to fix a leak. In Wayne's book I can see a picture of the pump being removed with a couple of levers but this was with the engine out,so no exhaust. Any help appreciated, thanks.

No, the exhaust is not in the way. Skip Wayne's book and get a copy of the Bentley 996 manual, it is covered in detail with photos and diagrams starting on page 17-11.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
