911 C4 996 Water Temp warning light is flashing on my car. It is not overheating ( it starts flashing after a couple of minutes from start up. - The water level is full. It mentions in the handbook that it could indicate the engine bay fan isnt opperative - Anyone come across this problem before? Thanks

Check again, go on a run then check *without switching off the engine* The water sucks down by a few inches with engine running a few minutes. If this is the case top up over the max line and put the clip on the Black cap into the upright position to allow air in. Then check level again after a run with engine still running.

Hi guys - thanks for the advice - I topped up again last night. only a bit required. I found that the black clip was already in the upright position. Is this right. Should it normally be in the upright position or flat. Thanks again.
