greetings need advice on how to dyno a 997 turbo... we have tried to put a 997 turbo on a 4wheel drive dyno and the dyno was not able to effectively dyno the car. we have switched off the necessary... like the PSM,PASM in order to run the dyno. but the traction control or 4 wheel drive system in the car seems to fight the dyno's process? is there a way to do this correctly... do we need to switch anything else off or disconnect anything in the car to allow the car to be dyno'ed correctly... thanks in advance...

I'm not certain about this (due to being a luddite when it comes to mechanics ) but I think when the 996 boys had their cars dyno'ed when we did the dyno day they had to disconnect the front drivershaft :? :dont know:

Get it onto a dynodynamics 4wd dyno and you won't have any probs.... west tuning, fearnsport, or evolve can all hook you up. Dont mess around trying to disconnect the propshaft ... look for a dyno that can do the job as is, and people that actually know how to use it and have adquate cooling for the car.
