Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Well I finally got my wife to help me scan a couple of photos into my album (DaveC). I thought it might be interesting to see how different wheels change the look of the same car. The optional 17" wheels were called Sport Design (if I remember correctly). They were a b**** to clean, seriously, and I grew tired of the look pretty quick. There was a fellow who bought these 18" Gemballa Cup wheels for a 97, and if any of you remember, the 97 Boxster rear suspension could not support an 18" wheel. So I swapped him my wheels and $2K for his. Although Gemballa calls them Cup style, they are the same as the 964 3.6 Turbo wheels of 1994 and are made by several companies. They would probably look pretty good on the CaymanS!

POST 2Original post

DaveC, Thanks for posting the pics. The color is beautiful, made for the Islands! I wish it was offered on my Cayman. The Gemballa wheels are really nice, but they both look pretty good to me. Russ
