Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust or tune the sport suspension on a 2005 Carerra S? The car rides firm, as it should, when the sport suspension is activited. When it is turned off, the car drives like a vehicle with bad shock absorbers. It will honestly make you motion sick. It's that bad. Most of the time, the firm sport mode is fine but there are times when I'd like a normal ride. What's the solution?

POST 2Original post

I just installed Eibach pro springs on my 05 997S and it has really changed the ride in normal mode. They make the car stay noticeably more flat no matter which mode PASM is in, although they are not excessively tight and it is still a relatively comfortable ride in normal mode. I used to always drive around town with PASM in sport mode because I hated the bounciness and body swaying in normal mode but now I'm really enjoying riding around in normal mode and it's just tight enough that it still feels sporty.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the tip on the Eibach springs. I see from your comment that you had the exact same experience with the bounciness. It is really intolerable. I'll look into the Eibach springs.
