Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Went down to see Chris and Jane again a couple of weeks, and Matt of course, and been meaning to post this up since 3rd trip down now and, as usual, just can't praise enough, s**t, i'm even getting to know the local back roads This time i was getting gt3 adjustable bottom arms so i could run a bit more neg camber on the front, Chris dialled in a bit more on the back and another tweaked geo And am i happy??? Car was a delight before, really was, communicative, progressive, fully trustworthy but now......just awesome. So much turn in grip, just keeps gripping and i can now even break the rear end with power( when you want to of course ), no front end wash out, even at silly speeds, just a beautifully balanced car Guess when you spend enough time with someone who sets up your car, they know what your trying to achieve even if you don't, if that makes sense, and thats what i get from Chris. He knows how i drive my car, he knows my abilities and he knows what my cars limitations are and, yet again, he's made it better when i didn't think he could, no thats not quite true, he's improved it more than i thought was possible For anyone thats thinking about getting a geo done, stop it, go and do it, still the best money you can spend Some pics

POST 2Original post

POST 4Original post

I understand it's an all day job! lol Wow, that's some camber on the rears. I see you getting, ooo maybe 5K out of them

POST 5Original post

I get 2,500-3,000 miles out of my rears.. And with 285-30-18's hard to get hold of, try and have a spare set in toe at all times Andy.

POST 6Original post

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

was running 1.5 degrees neg on the rear, now upto 2 degrees and have done around 2500 miles including a 1000 mile round trip to the ring and 3 track days at Knockhill Just about to head to Knockhill in about an hour, so rears will be just about finished by tonight!! Thinking about changing to michelin cup's anyway, like Dan says, it's getting ever harder to get hold of r888's and have never tried cup's before Can't recommend cofg enough, no affiliation, just one damn happy customer so ResB and Patgas....get your a***s down there, or up there or across there or whatever

POST 8Original post

Fully agree they are highly recommended, did a great job on my 993, though I think they are just called Center Gravity ... no "of". WRT the MPSCs - I think they are a better tyre than the R888 (though not by much) but they certainly cost a lot more ...
