Much more expensive than Porsche to run (service wise) & one of his ECUs packed up.

Yes its not easy to drive, yes is more expensive to run but the engine noise is by far better

It also didn't help that on the test drive in the 360 I was called a rather unpleasant name twice in a 10 mile test drive.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Selling the C4S...Some of you wanted some pics so here she is..Comments welcome..
For a Ferrari 360...
Has anyone gone down the Ferrari route or can give some feedback in terms of jumping from a C4S to a 360? Any performance, maintenance driveability comparisons will be great to know..
Thanks... 8)
ps let me know if anyone here is looking for a mint example C4S
Car looks great.....
As for the 360 although I do not have one I tried it and I would say its not very easy to drive. You have to push and try all the time
On the other hand the reason I went for the 997 is because is so easy to drive either slowly through the traffic or as fast as you wish (and allowed!!!!)
Maintenance bills on a 360 should be higher by the way...
And last but not least the engine noise of the Ferrari is from a different world. Yes its not easy to drive, yes is more expensive to run but the engine noise is by far better
Overall performance at that level is down to the driver if you take the car to the limits but if I remember correctly they are comparable with the Ferrari just a bit faster

I've not owned a 360 but have test driven both a 360 and 430 Spider in the last 6 months when looking at other cars, and I have to be honest, but I was disappointed by both..........
They weren't quite the drivers car that the 911 is and they didn't seem particularly special inside (in fact the interior was a bit outdated in both IMO).
It also didn't help that on the test drive in the 360 I was called a rather unpleasant name twice in a 10 mile test drive.
You might want to consider a 996/997 TT also as these should be in the same budget range.

the bloke i bought my 964 off ,bought a brand new ferrari ,
he sold me the porsche when the Ferrari turned up ( he had waited months for delivery )
he got pulled for speeding on the way home from collecting it.
i think it gets lots of unwanted attention , police, chavs, jealous people etc

Hi
I am looking at selling my c4s cab, and moving on. I did look at a 430 but i have been looking at a db9 volante. I was in graypaul ferrari the other day and they suggested a maserati gran turismo. It looked great but i was not sure on the quality/how reliable it would be. I am in limbo at the mo not sure what to do.
A chum of mine has a 360 spider. Fantastic sound (sports exhaust) & generally good build quality compared with earlier models. He uses it quite a lot and it's an OK day to day car.
Much more expensive than Porsche to run (service wise) & one of his ECUs packed up. They only sell them as a pair, which cost him over £3,000 :x
