Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

hi there... can any one talk me through removing the sliver front vents (under the fog lights) from a 2005 boxster s? thanks brice

POST 2Original post

First, you have to remove the bumper. The lamps are fastened to the back side of the grilles. The bumper is "sandwiched" between the lamps and grilles. Retained by some very small metal reatiners that are very hard to get off. I have not found a easy way to remove them except by cutting off with a pair of dikes. Of course you will have to get new retainers. P.S. You will have to disconnect the wiring harmess to the lamps, as well as the headlamp washers on a S model. Good luck
