Have you heard them in real life? I had a set of muffler and cat bypass pipes from Fabspeed, and kept them for a week. It was just too loud. They sound great though. Good luck in either event!
I'm interested, are you happy with the look of the pipes after the installation? I don't know if I had a poor installation or what, but they didn't look that great after they were mounted. They stuck out a little too far and low past the bumper. The pipes themselves were great quality.
I just put these on my car.... fabspeed supercups, they are halfway between a set of bypass pipes and a sport muffler. They are great! and are only 18 lbs between the 2 of them.... but def loud!

LOL!! Well thanks! What year is yours? I absolutely love these cars. I got mine from my parents, they weren't using it and I told them I'd get it running. After a nice lump sump of money I've had it running a good 5 years TROUBLE FREE. I'm told by others thats almost unheard of for these cars.
78 runs great, currently under a rewire... previous owner cut the entire harness out of it... been awhile since I messed w it... :-(

just remove your mufflers and drive the car.. its about the same (for a sound test)
I seriously dont know how anyone can run these on the street... they drone like hell and anything less than WOT sound like a tractor
How about going to your neighborhood muffler shop, bending some pipe and making your own? Looks pretty simple to me (although I haven't done it) AND, if it is too loud, use only one. I know, I know, I always have great advice.
