Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I've had troublesome reception on the stock non-bose CDR-24 for as long as I can remember, I just put sorting it off till I got around to upgrading the CDR-24 which I did this weekend. Whislt routing some cabling on the left a-pillar I thought I'd just check the power going to the aerial. The white wire is showing +12v as expected and is grounded off the Radio's Ground (Brown Wire), however doesn't ground to the car itself. Additonally there is no ground on the black wire coming from the aerial. Is this corrrect? having searched I can't seem to find any obvious answers, however suspect something is amiss and further impacting the previous (and current) questionable FM reception. Does anyone know what I should be seeing here? Many thanks, Chris
