I have had to run through a few small issues to get these to where I want them and now I'm very happy with the fit and finish.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have developed a set of rear solid gt3 spec subframe bushes for my 996.1. I have had to run through a few small issues to get these to where I want them and now I'm very happy with the fit and finish. These replace the rubber bush which will remove some of the movement from the rear end. They also bring the subframe approximately 10mm closer to the chassis which in theory should help with geometry issues on lowered cars. This is essentially the reason why I had them made but I've ended up getting some adjustable arms anyway. There is some more info on this on my instagram which is @nedhannon #modified996mk1. I can have these made for anyone interested for a very reasonable price which is a substantial amount cheaper than any I have seen for sale which is the main reason for sourcing my own. I'm guessing these will fit 997s as well but can't be sure. Please feel free to contact me with any enquires.

POST 4Original post

Hey Ned, nice work! Funnily enough I was just looking at the Elephant Racing solid spacers and thinking that on my lowered C2 they might be a nice upgrade... but I struggled with the idea of spending $220 on half a dozen spacers... Do you have an indication of expected price at all? Also out of interest do you know if these can be fitted. Relatively easily or is it a major removal job to get them fitted? Given I'd probably get my Indie to fit them it'd be a lot easier to consider this for cost / benefit if it was an hour or two as opposed to days of labour to fit them. But as I say. Nice work!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi dangerous. I can't say what an indie is going to charge you but there is a few hours labour at the very least. The frames need to be dropped out and the original rubber pressed out and new ones in which is very simple and straight forward. I can definitely beat any price and by some margin. I'll pm you a price. This may not be a job to be done simply on its own due to labour but as part of any other suspension work it'd be pretty straightforward.
