Suggestion

There are examples of people running 18mm spacers on the standard 11j wheels so that should give an idea of fitment.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any ideas on this pls I'm looking at a set of wheels for my 996T, not sure if the rear size will be an issue 11j x19 et 27 Will these fit ok, or what would need to be done ( spacers or tyres )? Thanks

POST 2Original post

They would sit 18mm out more than the standard spec wheels. There are examples of people running 18mm spacers on the standard 11j wheels so that should give an idea of fitment. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-for...ls-can-i-go-20mm-spacers-in-the-rear-and.html

Put your wheel and tyre specs into here https://www.willtheyfit.com/wheels/ It will give you an idea 👍😉

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Richie for the link. So it seem NOT too much an issue, as seems like the rear wheels will come up close to flush without the need for spacers. The tyres rolling radius difference from the fromts seems to be a bit out with these wheels according to the Will they Fit website. diverzeusy, so seems like a 305 tyre will push a whisker past the 3% difference margin in the wrong direction (so the car is going faster than the Speedo suggests). Any other input welcome guys. Thanks again
